Gina is the founder of Chiron Promotions and has been a promoter in Ottawa for the last two years. Gina has organized a number of shows over the last two years including fundraisers for local nonprofit organizations. Gina has booked artists and bands on their early days as well as has booked some of Ottawa's favourite artists and bands. Gina operates as a non profit and this is a true passion of hers. In 2025 she organized 8 shows. In 2026 Chiron Promotions is organizing over 14 shows, including a festival!
Curatorial philosophy and activities
Chiron Promotions is an Ottawa based non profit live music promoter dedicated to supporting emerging independent artists. The organization focuses on helping new musicians gain experience performing in venues and learning how live shows are run with the guidance of a promoter. Through community driven events and curated showcases, Chiron Promotions aims to fill the gap between early stage artists and the live music ecosystem. This gap is filled through creating opportunities for artists to develop their craft, build confidence, and connect with local audiences. Chirom Promotions runs as a give back project for the local music community rather than a profit driven business.

Chiron Promotions programming has provided meaningful opportunities for emerging independent artists who may not otherwise have had the chance to perform in venues in 2025. Through these events, artists were able to gain live performance experience, earn income from their shows, and receive professional quality photos that support their promotion and career development.
Beyond the performance opportunities, the organization places a strong emphasis on artist care. Shows are run in a supportive environment where musicians are treated with respect. Artists are often provided with healthy homemade meals during events too! This level of care contributes to a welcoming atmosphere that prioritizes the well being of performers while strengthening the sense of the music community.
